UK ebook market: digital fiction books grew by 188% in January-June 2012 compared to the same period in 2011. There were also also increases in the value of children’s digital books (171%) and digital non-fiction books (128%). Source: PA’s sales monitor.
In the States, 20% of all books sold are ebooks, while in the UK 7% are ebooks and in France only 0.5%. It seems that ebooks are still very expensive on the Continent.
